YON GOMEZ, PA-C
Yon Gomez is a certified Physician Assistant who joined Hope Orthopedics of Oregon in 2021 and works closely with Dr. Daniel Elkin in Sports Medicine. He enjoys providing compassionate care in an evidence-based approach to help his patients recover from injuries and return to the activities that they enjoy.
Yon received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University and went on to complete his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University. Originally from Cuba, Yon grew up in the cultural melting pot of South Florida before relocating to the Pacific Northwest where he could continue to enjoy the great outdoors. Outside of the clinic, he is an avid hiker, backpacker, and snowboarder. His other interests include traveling, music, and flying single-engine airplanes.
