JEFF COOKSEY, PA-C
Jeff Cooksey is a native Oregonian who began his experience in the medical field as a Paramedic in Portland. He also was a clinical skills instructor for Paramedic students at Portland Community College before receiving his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Hillsboro.
In 2021, Jeff joined Hope Orthopedics of Oregon and works closely with
Dr. Shane Hess in the total joint program. Jeff’s passion for helping others was first discovered during his youth and involvement in the Boy Scouts of America where he earned his Eagle Scout rank. When not treating patients, Jeff likes to travel, spend time with friends and family, exercise, explore the outdoors, gain new experiences, and enjoy the performing arts. One of his favorite quotes is, “If it can be solved, there is no need to worry, and if it cannot be solved, worry is of no use.” -Dalai Lama
