CATHY COEN, BSPT

Cathy is a licensed physical therapist with 21 years of experience. She has been part of the Hope Orthopedics team since 2010. Cathy is a native of Minnesota and graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She then worked in Chicago where she met her husband, Dr. John Coen. They moved to Birmingham, Alabama where Cathy worked at Health South in an outpatient facility and then on to El Paso, Texas where John served in the Air Force and did his fellowship training. After the military, John and Cathy moved to Oregon in 1999. Cathy and her husband have 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys. Cathy took off 14 years from work to raise her kids and returned to work in 2010.

Cathy enjoys traveling and site seeing, getting together with her family and friends, and teaching yoga in West Linn.

Cathy enjoys spending one on one time with her patients and really getting to know them and helping them through their physical and emotional recovery.
